Historian

Must be content with learning Civilization's mistakes knowing full well they will repeat and that no one will learn from them.
Must have an unhealthy passion for stuff that already happened; usually a long long time ago.
Must be able to dwell on the past. This, of course, goes against conventional wisdom. But you're smarter than that.
Must understand Tomb Raider & Indiana Jones are not real.
Must understand a historian will never accidentally stumble upon treasure or any other form of historical wealth. You are thinking of an archaeologist.
