Must be able to continually say what is wrong with the economy, with no solution.
Must have a political agenda.
When in doubt, blame supply & demand.
When in doubt, blame inflation.
When in doubt, just say big words you find in an economy book.
You're basically the weatherman for the economy. And you know how accurate weather prediction is.
Your Nobel Prize contention does not depend on you being right; ever.
Hope you like research, because that's basically what you'll be doing the entire time. Only a select few get TV spots.
Dying of boredom is an occupational hazard, but does not warrant hazard pay.
